BIBD ALAF CONTINUES COMMITMENT TOWARDS NATION BUILDING IN FIFTH YEAR OF ALAF SCHOLARSHIPS
BIBD today awarded BIBD ALAF (Advocating Life-Long Learning for an Aspiring Future) programme scholarships to thirty-one new students from the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA), and Ministry of Education (MoE), bringing the total number of students enrolled to 166.
In line with His Majesty’s Vision 2035 to eradicate poverty and illiteracy in the nation, BIBD renewed its Memorandum of Understanding with both the Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Religious Affairs. This is to continue the ongoing collaboration towards realising Wawasan 2035 by nurturing our underprivileged youths through education and guidance to achieve excellence.
The event concluded with the handing over of the appointment of the new BIBD ALAF Taskforce committee 2018-2020, and 122 ALAF Student Affair Teachers from the Department of Schools (MoE), and Islamic Studies Department 2018-2019.
